Course teaches students critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the minutes until emergency services arrives.

It is designed to teach first aid for victims of all ages, relief of choking and a variety of issue like bleeding, shock, burns, allergic reactions, heart attack, etc. Instruction is given on recognition of life threatening emergencies and basic First Aid techniques.

It is available to anyone desiring the knowledge and skills taught at this level. Upon successful completion, students will receive their Heartsaver First Aid course completion card which is valid for two years.

The first aid and CPR/AED course is designed to teach students CPR for victims of all ages, use the automated external defibrillator (AED),relief of choking.The Heartsaver First Aid course trains participants in first aid basics for the most common first aid emergencies, including how to recognize them, how to call for help, and how to perform lifesaving skills. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) and the 2020 AHA/Red Cross Guidelines for First Aid.
